Chenab Valley Tulip Garden opens for visitors | KNO

BHADERWAH , MAR 20 (KNO) : With the aim to encourage tourism in Jammu regions Chenab valley for the first time, half dozen varieties of tulips have come to bloom in the Gatha resort garden of Bhaderwah in Chenab valley and those who love nature and tulips, no longer need to go to Holland or elsewhere .

Chief Executive Officer Bhaderwah Development Authority , Dr Rajinder Kumar Khajuria informed that extension of Tulip Garden has been undertaken by way of growing other plants like Hyacinths, Daffodils, Narcissus and other ornamental plants. In this season, 500 Hyacinth tulip bulbs are planted in a separate terrace and further fresh plantation is in full swing in Bhaderwah .

It was given out that in order to beautify the landscape, additional green spaces are being created to attract more visitors to Gatha resort Tulip garden . “We request tourists to visit the garden instead of travelling to Holland to see the beautification of the tulips. We also invite locals to the garden to enjoy the wonderful sight of beautifully planted flowers,” CEO BDA said. (KNO)
